DfAM
Design for Additive Manufacturing

A new world of design freedom

DfAM is an interdisciplinary module in which students explore the use of additive manufacturing in structures. A functional project is realized in collaboration with students from other departments. Aspects of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering and economics are taken into account.

Course Contents

  • Additive Manufacturing
  • Topology Optimization
  • Design in 3 dimensional space
  • Application of finite element methods
