GPEK – Fachrolle Tragwerksplanung
The research focuses on the post-fracture behaviour of laminated safety glass and its dependence on the respective fracture morphology. In particular, it investigates how different crack and fragmentation patterns influence the mechanical behaviour and the remaining load-bearing capacity after glass fracture. The findings are relevant to various fields of application, particularly the automotive sector, construction, and photovoltaics.
