My research focuses on the lifetime extension of offshore wind turbines. The main focus is on the metamodel-based representation of actual operational loads, including load cycle counts and load histories, within a local-global digital twin, with the aim of determining remaining service lifetimes more realistically and cost-effectively.

Current projects: Lifetime Extension of Offshore Wind Turbines using a Local-Global Digital Twin Paradigm, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
